Non-vaulted Relics

Here is a list of non-vaulted relics (not in and never have been retired from the drop table). Most relics retire from the drop table seasonally. In bold are relics from Railjack missions which will always be available.

Lith

Meso

Neo

Axi

Available relics can also be checked on https://drops.warframestat.us/#. For example, set the search function to ‘Regex match’; the following search term Axi\s\w yields results for Axi Relics. Sort the results by rarity to get a unique list first before any repeats.

Where to Get Relics

All missions taking place in The Void guarantee a relic as a reward. The playerbase generally prefers Survival missions as the rewards come every 5 minutes.

With intro and outro loading times considered, a fast player on a decent computer can solo-complete Capture missions every 2 minutes.

If you’re tired of seeing the Orokin Void tileset, Disruption missions can be a great way to acquire void relics.1

Endless mission types such as Disruption have three reward pools defined. The reward pools are referred to as Rotation A, B, or C. Whether the player is rewarded an item from A, B, or C depends on mission progression or player performance; in the case of disruption, A, B or C correlates to the number of conduits defended.

Mission A B C
Olympus, Mars 100% Lith 100% Meso 100% Meso
Ur, Uranus 100% Meso 100% Neo 94.92% Neo
Kappa, Sedna 100% Meso 100% Neo 71.40% Axi
Apollo, Lua 100% Neo 100% Axi 86.97% Axi

Disruption Rotations

Round 1 conduits defended 2 conduits defended 3 conduits defended 4 conduits defended
1 A A A B
2 A A B B
3 A B B C
4+ B B C C

To illustrate, if you are on round 2 and one conduit has been destroyed, you are eligible for the same reward as though no conduits have been destroyed.

Relic Packs

Relic Packs contain three of any era of relics except Requiem. They are generally sold by syndicates for 25,000 points. For syndicates associated with open world areas, the miner sells relic packs.

Teshin also sells Relic Packs for 15 Steel Essence, a special token acquired exclusively from Steel Path missions.

Kuva Lich or Sister of Pavos, Progenitor Warframe

Kuva Liches (Grineer) and Sisters of Pavos (Corpus) are special bosses that are fought over multiple missions. The game refers to them as an “undying nemesis”. They have humble beginning as a low-ranking soldier who are then killed by the player and fortunately resurrected by the faction leader.

A Kuva Lich or Sister of Pavos is imbued with an element depending on the warframe that killed him or her. In this case, the warframe is considered the “progenitor warframe”. For example, a kuva lich killed by the Ember warframe will be imbued with fire (Heat) damage and immunity; the weapon wielded by the Kuva Lich will also have innate fire damage.

The weapon dropped by a nemesis is the primary reward of playing content affiliated with Kuva Liches or Pavos Sisters. The community meta strongly favors Toxin for nearly all weapons; it is also commonly recommended to specifically equip a warframe before acquiring a nemesis. Regardless, here is a list of warframes and their corresponding element. Some are obvious; some are not; some don’t make sense.

Nightwave Objectives

Earth Fisher

The player has a choice of three fishing spears in the Plains of Eidolon on Earth. The best spear deals the most damage to the target fish.

Species Cycle Habitat Best Spear
Glappid Night Ocean Peram
Cuthol Night Pond Lanzo
Norg Night Lake Peram
Murkray Both Ocean Lanzo

Venus Fisher

The appropriate fishing spears on The Orb Vallis are the Shockprod Fishing Spear or the Stunna Fishing Spear. The difference between them is convenience.

Species Cycle Habitat
Longwinder Warm Lake
Tromyzon Cold Pond
Charamote Both Cave
Synathid Both Cave

Grove Guardian

Kill 1 Silver Grove Specter.

To complete this objective, at least one player needs to have completed The Silver Grove quest (which is the source of the blueprints for Apothics).2

Equip one of the following

Then start the mission Mantle, Earth (Capture) which is on the northeastern coast of Africa. If The Silver Grove has spawned, The Lotus will mention it.

“Tenno, my readings indicate there is an increasingly dense neural-network beneath the forest floor. This can only mean one thing: The Silver Grove is nearby.”

The Silver Grove is introduced in the eponymous questline that rewards the Titania warframe. This is an area that spawns in the Grineer Forest tilesets for Earth. It is usually found on the ends of narrow tunnels.

Mad Lab

Plunder one of Alad V’s secret laboratories on Jupiter

Start a Capture mission on Jupiter. This would be Ananke, the third node from the north pole. There is a lot of visual detail involved in completing this objective, so a video reference is available at PeerTube.

Alad V’s secret laboratory is a part of the Corpus Gas City tileset. The doors to the laboratories have at least three glowing orange glyphs which communicate the sequence in which a set of corresponding switches must be activated. Each switch corresponds with a glyph. The glyphs will always be the following in various orders:

For a given tile, the placements of props associated with the puzzle are fixed. To open the door to the laboratory, the player must do the following:

  1. Find and destroy the Access Controller.

This will expose the switches and mark them on the mini-map.

  1. In the order depicted on the door, interact with the switches before the time limit runs out.

If the player succeeds, the first set of doors will open, revealing a second door. If the timer has expired, the player can try again.

  1. Switch to Operator mode (default key: 5) and hit the door (default: left mouse button).

  2. Open the purple lockers.

The objective registers after the player finishes the mission.
