I have a new page template and pandoc filter. If you comment on certain statuses, they can show up as comments on my blogs.
Here, I pulled replies from arbitrary posts on Pleroma as a test run.

Sourcing comments from the Fediverse. Reply to any of the bulleted links to leave a comment.
@antares Yeah, that's a mastodon thing. They removed that particular feature. I'll have to figure out a way to get around that, but I've just never gotten around to it.
@dusnm Found you from the fediring and tried to comment on your post here: https://dusanmitrovic.rs/blog/post/2022-05-18/Adding-support-for-comments-through-integration-with-Mastodon
Though attempting to reply gave me "page not found" response from your instance.
I did have a similar idea though.

I always wanted to add support for comments on my blog. I just couldn't find a convinient way to go about implementing them, until I joined Mastodon!
@feld @antares I’m running tootik, the Gemini Fediverse server+client.
@istvan @antares my branch of Pleroma with native finger support probably still exists
@antares Interesting idea.
I've been piping one of my fedi accounts into finger (port 79) for updates on my gemini capsule.
@sun A pandoc filter requests replies to a post on Pleroma when I render the page.
Another example is my Nioh review

@antares how does this work?
My #neocities site will have a comments section.

#pandoc #fediverse
Test page for a pandoc filter that creates a comments section based on replies from the Fediverse through Pleroma.

@anonicus @antares there are a couple reasons but a big one is that if I kept using the old domain name, a bunch of remote servers would treat it as the same server and clobber it with the same traffic.
Club felt so comfy and exclusive. World has its own appeal, but it seems more mass for the masses and not as intimate. I guess it's the only place to visit shitposter epcot though, so there's that.
@antares zombo.com
which domain name is better? #SPC #fediverse
